The recently held 2016 China (Hainan ) International Marine Tourism Fair ( CIMTF ) at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center has been hailed a success.
CIMTF was hosted by the Hainan Tourism Development Commission and the Publicity & Education Centre of the State Oceanic Administration and Pacific Society of China. Supported by the Chinese Society For Oceanography and the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province it is organised by the Haikou Convention & Exhibition Bureau, the Pacific Society of China and Hainan Gonghao International Exhibition.
CIMTF has been developed into an international exhibition that features “quality exhibitors, visitors, products, onsite brand-building events and O2O activities.” The marketing platforms , professional exhibition displays and investment management “are presenting a new style.”
Organisers say the exhibition has been improved this year and has brought more international and domestic marine tourism destinations together “to show the panorama of marine leisure sports style.” Special events were created to meet the needs of different groups so that “participants can strengthen economic trade exchanges and cooperation, with the theme , ‘Sustainable development of marine tourism and the South China Sea model’.”
