JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong has a new director of marketing – Charis Yim. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Charis oversees the sales & marketing division of the 602-room luxury hotel.

Before joining JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, Charis was most recently director of sales and marketing at the Mandarin Oriental, Macau. Prior to her tenure in Macau, she held senior management positions in multiple luxury hotels in Hong Kong including the InterContinental Hong Kong and the Peninsula Hong Kong.

In her new position Charis spearheads the development and implementation of strategies to support the hotel’s continuing efforts to drive business performance, revenue, brand awareness in key markets and segments, and financial profitability. Charis started her hotel career within the Marriott family as a sales executive at the Renaissance Kowloon Hotel.
