Asia’s leading food and hospitality tradeshow HOFEX is back for its 33rd edition at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 – 10 May 2019. The show has established itself as the ultimate industry show will as always have a comprehensive selection of food & drinks, hospitality equipment and supplies.
HOFEX’s signature event – Hong Kong International Culinary Classic (HKICC), a prestigious cooking competition endorsed by the World Association of Chef’s Societies (WACS), will see over nine hundred contestants from across the world. The competition is categorised into: Western/Chinese cuisine challenge, Butchery Skills Challenge, Pastry Competition, Live Afternoon Tea Set Competition, Gourmet Team Challenge and the newest: Gelato Competition.
Another competition that will attract a lot of contestants is the Mixed Barista Arts. This coffee competition aims at discovering all-round baristas who have the full set of skills – from assembling a grinder, making a shot, creating the best latte art, cooperating with the team efficiently to serving customers in a professional manner.
Adding to the HOFEX is ProWine Asia @HOFEX that promises tiobe the hub of the wine trading world and Retail Asia Conference & Expo (RACE) which will be co-located at HOFEX. This collaboration of food and hospitality technologies, products and services is a must for any industry professional.
