Courtyard by Marriott Osaka Honmachi in Osaka’s central business district is expected to open in late 2019.
Owned by Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, rented and operated by Sun Frontier Fudousan Company, a real estate firm in Japan and Southeast Asia, the newly-built standalone hotel will be the second Courtyard by Marriott in Osaka following Courtyard by Marriott Shin Osaka Station which opened in 2015.

Courtyard by Marriott Osaka Honmachi will offer 193 guestrooms including two suites. Fast and complimentary Wi-Fi and flexible workspaces will be part of the deal. The hotel will also feature an all-day dining venue which will be accessible from the street, attracting a mix of guests and Osaka locals. Located in the Honmachi area facing the main street, Chuo Dori central boulevard, the hotel is within walking distance from Sakaisuji Honmachi Station. The 17-storey hotel also offers convenient access to various tourist attractions including Semba Center Building containing more than 1,000 wholesalers, retail and dining facilities located in and around Shinsaibashi and Nagahoribashi areas. Other attractions including the historic Osaka Castle and Universal Studios Japan are within easy access from the hotel.
