European Beef and Lamb producers underlined their sustainability credentials, quality and food safety at HOFEX 2019. Hosted by Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, the EU co-funded information and promotional exhibition was very informative.
The European Union is the cradle of genetic diversity, assuring the highest level of food safety and transparency, as well as supplying sustainable grass fed beef and lamb.
European cattle and sheep spend most of their life grazing natural grass – their natural environment where they can best express their natural behaviour. “We had more than 30 meetings with local partners and potential clients,” says Kieran Fitzgerald, Bord Bia EU Programme Manager, highlighting the “strong presence of European beef and lamb on display at partner stands too.”
European Beef from Ireland is now available in Hong Kong at all Foodwise stores and will be in over 30 Park’N’Shop stores soon. Irish Lamb can be found at DeliFans retail shops and Yata supermarkets.
