The Michelin star and 4AA Rosette award-winning restaurant, The Tudor Room (Egham, England), has appointed Tony Parkin as its head chef.
The award-winning restaurant located in the Great Fosters, a luxury four-star hotel, offers an intimate dining experience for just 24 diners at a time. For Tony the new role is an exciting new step in a hugely successful career; he joins The Tudor Room following three-and-a-half-years as head chef at Graham Garrett’s, The West House, where he helped maintain the restaurant’s Michelin star.
In the industry for almost 20 years, his portfolio includes being Private Chef for Lord and Lady Bamford and cooking at the only 2-Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen at the time, Kommendaten. Tony Parkin says, “The opportunity to work at this award-winning restaurant is one I couldn’t pass up to really showcase what I can do and serve food that excites people.”
